The platform layer
Your personal art world, made legible.
Kuria has a physical programme in Amsterdam — and a platform underneath it. A personalized discovery and matchmaking layer that connects audiences, early-career practitioners, and established figures across cities and institutions.
Amsterdam × the international field.
Amsterdam is our home base. But the art world doesn't stop at the ring. Kuria is built as a cross-pollination engine — a way for a student in Amsterdam to be in conversation with a curator in Seoul, a residency in Mexico City, or a project space in Lagos, and vice versa.
We treat the local and the international as one continuous field. What's happening at a small space on the KNSM matters. So does what's opening at the biennale you can't afford to fly to. The platform brings both into the same view.
One field, many rooms.
A personalized cultural intelligence layer.
You input your tastes, interests and context. The platform builds you a living preview of the art world as it's actually relevant to you — the artists to know, the shows to catch, the people whose sensibilities match yours.
A living preview of your art world
Tell the platform your tastes, your discipline, the questions you're sitting with — and get back a curated view of what actually matters to you across the sector.
Artists you should know
Not the algorithm's top ten. A shortlist of practices adjacent to yours — early-career and established — with the context on why they belong on your radar.
What's emerging, city by city
The scene in Amsterdam is not the scene in Seoul or Mexico City. The platform surfaces the exhibitions, project spaces and moments worth knowing in each.
Matchmaking, not networking
Curators, collectors, mentors and peers whose sensibilities line up with yours. Introductions with a reason attached, not a follow request.
How it works
You set the frame
Interests, discipline, cities you care about, career stage, questions you're working on.
We build the map
A personal cultural feed: artists, shows, fairs, texts, opportunities — mixed across Amsterdam and international scenes.
You cross-pollinate
Introductions to people, invitations to events, and prompts that pull you into rooms you'd otherwise miss.
Built for three audiences at once
Audiences
People who love art and want a smarter, less overwhelming way to follow it — locally and internationally.
Early-career practitioners
Artists, curators, writers and researchers looking for peers, mentors and the right rooms to be in.
Established figures
Curators, collectors and institutions who want to see what's emerging outside their usual circles.
The platform is being built now.
We're prototyping with a small group of artists, curators and audiences across Amsterdam and beyond. If you'd like early access, or if you want to shape what this becomes, join the list.
