About Kuria Collective

A growing platform for creative and cultural development. We bring together artists, students, researchers, and curious minds who want to understand and reimagine the art and heritage sector — not just from theory, but through practice.

Why we exist

Because the art world is full of unwritten rules.

Many talented people never find their way into the cultural sector because they do not know the codes: how to write a portfolio, who to talk to, which events matter, or how to fund a first project.

Kuria Collective makes those codes visible. Through mentoring, workshops, network events, and real collaborations, we help people find their place and move forward with confidence.

What drives us

Our values

Care over competition

We believe the cultural field is stronger when people share what they know. Success is measured by the quality of the conversation, not by who gets there first.

Learning by doing

Theory is important, but practice builds confidence. Kuria creates space to try, fail, adjust, and try again — alongside mentors who have been there.

Rooted in Amsterdam, open to the world

We started in Amsterdam and work with a global network of artists, institutions, and cultural workers. Local context, international curiosity.

Rethinking culture together

Kuria asks who is included, who is left out, and how the art and heritage sector can be more accessible, playful, and fair.
